Thanksgiving is over but living a grateful life should not end. Being grateful should not just happen during the month of November or at Thanksgiving.
Gratitude is important all year long. It strengthens our mental health and the lives of others.
This month we learned many lessons about gratitude:
- Gratitude gives us strength.
- It’s an affirmation of goodness.
- It is a source of goodness outside ourselves.
- A simple “Thank You” can change someone’s whole world.
Clinical Social Worker, Dr. Beth Plachetka from Safe Harbor Counseling and Dr. Beth Speaks taught us all the benefits that can come from being grateful! She teaches us how to be grateful during the good times and the difficult times.
